It's no secret that I absolutely love this photo, and for good reason.
Vision- It's just plain and sinple a good idea for a photo. The positioning, lighting and colors are well chosen and stand out. I especially enjoy the asymmetry and profile/3/4 profile views. Even though it's closely cropped, the action is clear and unmistakeable. It's a lovely composition.
Originality- For something based upon an existing work (a book series) this is a surprisingly unique piece. Extra points for the happy and carefree expressions. This easily could have been done as an angsty, dark kind of thing, and to good effect, but instead the artist has chosen to do a lighthearted take on some pretty gloomy subject matter.
Technique- Even though not the main focal point of this piece, the costumes are well made, and the scenery is well chosen. The lighting is just right, if not a bit on the bright side, but it works. The only suggestion I would make is too crop a little further out so "Sansa's" entire head is in the picture.
Impact- Overall this gets the job done, and it definitely put a smile on my face. Keep up the good work.
